Bobby Lynn Neeley went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, Feb. 6, 2012. He was born on Dec. 17, 1936 in Purdon to Nody and Celia May Neeley. He was a retired machinist and loved to fish and hunt in his early years but his grandkids were the light of his life as he got older.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Bettye Thomas and brother Bill Neeley.

Bobby is survived by his wife of 56 years Wanda Fultz Neeley of Corsicana; daughter Rebecca Neeley of Fort Worth, son Russell Neeley and wife Sherri of Rockwall; grandchildren Brandon and Max Youngblood of Fort Worth, Ryan Neeley of Rockwall, Cristina Neeley of Rockwall, and Patrick Griffin Fraser of Rockwall. He is also survived by his sister Helen Reed of Mesquite, sister-in-law Becky Neeley of Dawson, nieces Zoeanne Bartlett of Fort Worth and Laura Sanders of Waxahachie.

Visitation will be held with the family on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012 at 10 a.m. in the Chapel at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home in Corsicana with Rev. Mark H. Nelson officiating and Ron McNeel as soloist. Burial will follow at Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Russell Neeley, Max Youngblood, Joe Nelson, David Combs, Tony Wright, and Chuck Vickers.

The family would like to thank Dr. Solanki and Heritage Oaks West very much for the care they gave.

The family ask that memorials be made to the Ceder Creek Missionary Baptist Church P.O. Box 146 Corsicana, Texas 75151.

He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and served on the Birdston Cemetery Association Board.
