Mrs. Brenda Lee Coker, 68, passed away Friday, March 1, 2013, at her home in Barry.

She was a member of the Methodist Women’s Group and very active with the Lord’s Acre. Brenda was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved caring for children.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Augustus and Francis Coker; and one daughter, Donna Coker.

Survivors include her husband, Joe Coker of Barry; daughter, Rita Coker of Barry; three sisters, Frances Bridger of Barry; Tommie Jones and her husband James of Corsicana; Letha Gentry and her husband Bobby of Barry; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2013, at Corley Funeral Home.

Services were at 2 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2013, at Corley Funeral Home with the Rev. Gene Gipson and Pastor Amy Anderson officiating. Interment followed at Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery.

Arrangements by Corley Funeral Home, Corsicana.
