Corsicana —

Willie Pass Rhynes, 62, of Corsicana passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013 in DeSoto.

He served in the United States Army, and later Willie began work at the Corsicana Daily Sun and furthered his career wroking 37 years for the Dallas Morning News. Willie leaves behind his loving family and friends.

The wake will be 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2013 at the Golden Gate Funeral Home, 4155 S.R.L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas Texas 75224.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 8, 2013 at Golden Gate Funeral Home. Promptly after that at 1:15 p.m. there will be a Military Honorary burial at the DFW National Cemetery in Grand Prairie.

She was born Dec. 4, 1954, to Mike and Janet Montgomery.
She was a loving wife, mother, and “Nana” who gave endlessly to her family and cherished her friends.

She was born June 2, 1927, in Blooming Grove.
She worked as a bookkeeper for 35 years at Watson Truck & Supply in Hobbs, N.M. She was a member of Westside Baptist Church.
