On Sunday, Feb. 5, 2012, our Mother and Grandmother, Evelyn Anderson, met her savior Jesus Christ. She was born on July 21, 1931, in Arkansas to parents, Bob and Lena Mae Baldwin.
She was a member of the 11th Avenue Baptist Church, and the two most important things in her life were God and her family. She was also a loyal Texas Rangers fan that never missed an opportunity to cheer on her team.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Anderson Sr.; her parents; brothers, Leo and Alvin Baldwin; sister, Barbara Henderson; granddaughter, Jessica Lee Anderson Ferguson; and a grandson, Eric Gomez.
She is survived by her sons, Edgar Anderson and wife Debbie of Corsicana, Elvis Anderson and wife Brenda of Corsicana, Alvin Anderson and wife JoAnn of Corsicana, and Dennis Anderson and wife Carolyn of Forney; daughter, Barbara Reynolds and husband Rick of Kerens; 19 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren; sister, Lee Hunt of Waco; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012, at Corley Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, at Oakwood Cemetery with the Rev. Rufus Nutt officiating.

He was born in Streetman to Calvert Vell and Pauline Coleman Carroll on March 24, 1936. He was a rancher in the Streetman area and attended the First Baptist Church in Streetman. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and served on the Birdston Cemetery Association Board.
