Mrs. Melody Joy Gentry, 50, of Ocean Springs, Miss., passed away Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, in Ocean Springs.
Melody was a native of Corsicana, and a resident of the coast for the past 12 years. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, aunt and grandmother and was loved by many.
She was preceded in death by a son, Heath Skinner; and her father, Ronald J. Skinner.
Survivors include her husband of 13 years, Steve W. Gentry of Ocean Springs, Miss.; daughter, Allyson (Bachir) Tourkzi of Deltona, Fla.; two sons, Austin Gentry and Logan Gentry, both of Casselberry, Fla.; mother, Janis (Jim) Ware of Crowley; two brothers, Mitchell Sanches of Azle, and Andy Sanches of Haslett; grandmother, Joy Young of Corsicana; and three grandchildren.
Visitation was 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb.. 22, 2013, and will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
