Mildred Lorraine Remmers went to be with her beloved Lord and Savior Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013, at the age of 93. She was born April 27, 1919.

She is survived by her daughter Linda Remmers Brister and son-in-law David L. Brister of Corsicana, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

The family would like to give special thanks and love to the wonderful staff of Twilight Home in Corsicana, which Mildred lovingly referred to as her “castle” for the last two years. The staff so sweetly and lovingly cared for her in a way the family truly appreciates. Mildred made many wonderful friends whom she adored and who also adored her.

Funeral services were Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013 in Texas City.
