Mr. Tim Chapman, 47, of Corsicana, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2013, in Corsicana.
He was born on Nov.21, 1965 in Ennis, to parents Alvin Earl and Lillie Jean Chapman Sr.
He was an avid fisherman, and had a great love for his family and being outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin Earl Chapman Sr.; brothers, Alvin Earl Chapman Jr., and Michael Wayne Chapman.
Survivors include his wife, Cindy Chapman of Kilgore; daughter, Samantha Chapman of Kilgore; son, James T. Chapman Jr. of Ellis County; mother, Lille Jean Chapman of Corsicana; brother, Bobby Chapman of Waxahachie; sisters, Delores Martin of Corsicana, and Diane Rosa of Malakoff; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation with the family was held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, March 10, 2013, at Corley Funeral Home.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 11, 2013, at the Corley Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Freeman Pierce officiating. Interment followed in the Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery.
Pallbearers were be Justin Brown, Chris Chapman, John Paul Chapman, Cory Rosa, David Martin and Stacy Dean. Honorary Pallbearer is Jason Chapman.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation.
