Donald Andrew Bonner

Corsicana —



Following a brief illness, Donald Andrew Bonner, 80 of Corsicana, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012. A long time resident of Corsicana, he was born Dec. 6, 1931 to James Lee and Alice McDonald Bonner. He retired from Chattanooga Glass after 27 years of service. He had also served in the Air Force and was a veteran of the  Korean War. He was also a member of Calvary Worship.

Mr. Bonner is preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Alice Bonner, a brother William Earl Bonner, a wife of 43 years Glenda Sue, a wife of 15 years Margaret, a grandson Cheyenne Bonner and a great grandson Jacoby Bonner Hatley.

Suvivors include four children, son Jeff and wife DeeAnn Bonner of Corsicana, daughter Jennifer Wooten of Portland, Ore., son Rodney and wife Kathy Bonner of Corsicana, son Tracy and wife Georgia Bonner of Pocatello, Idaho, 17 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, brother Leroy Bonner, three sisters-in-law, Jimmye Bonner, Valda Bonner and Bobbie Nell Bonner.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28, 2012 at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home.

Service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012 at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Campbell Elrod Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Toby Williamson, Josh Bonner, Dale Harwell, Lucas Bonner, Matthew Hughes and Dakota Bonner.

    She was born June 2, 1927, in Blooming Grove.
    She worked as a bookkeeper for 35 years at Watson Truck & Supply in Hobbs, N.M. She was a member of Westside Baptist Church.
