Ruby L. Willhite Feller, 78, of Waco passed away at a local nursing home Friday, Sept. 28, 2012.
Ruby was born Sept. 27, 1934, in Aquilla, to Jim and Mary Willhite. She married Orvil Feller June 30, 1976, they had 36 wonderful years together. Ruby spent several years as a Respiratory Specialist, serving the Waco and Corsicana area. She loved traveling, camping, but most of all spending time with her grandchildren. Her hobbies were, writing poems, playing piano, and caring for her animals.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Mary Maxwell Willhite ; son, Jerry Brooks; daughter, Debbie Webb; and brother, Elvin Willhite.
Survivors include her loving husband, Orvil Feller; children, Kenneth Brooks and wife Jennifer, Donald Brooks and wife Glenda, and Jeff Feller and wife Theresa; grandchildren, Michael, Tori, Garrett, Matthew and Dustin Brooks, Stacy Ford, and James and Sammie Webb; great-grandchildren, Amber, Brittney, Kailey, Kaden, Isaiha, and Gabriel; and a brother, Raymond Willhite.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 1, 2012, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home at 3124 Robinson Drive in Waco.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday Oct. 2, 2012, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home in Waco with Scott Spence officiating. Interment will follow at Waco Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, or the Alzheimer's Association.
