Frank Commiato, Jr., 81 of Kerens, passed away Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012 at his residence.

Mr. Commiato was born Feb. 15, 1931 in Houston to Frank Commiato, Sr. and Mary Menotti Commiato.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one son, Ken Commiato, one brother, John J. Commiato, one sister, Rosalie Commiato Kelsey and one great granddaughter, Barbara Kelsey Commiato.

Frank is survived by his wife of 60 years, Barbara Commiato of Kerens; daughter and son-in-law, Marjorie and Grant Long of De Moines, N.M.; son and daughter-in-law, Dan and Antonella Commiato of Houston; son, Chris Commiato of Ft. Worth; son and daughter-in-law, Dave and Kathy Commiato of Kerens; son and daughter-in-law, Ray and Trisha Commiato of Kerens; brother and sister-in-law, Pete and Becky Commiato of Carthage; 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, 2012 at Paschal Funeral Home.  

Private gravesdie service will be Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012 at the Prairie Point Cemetery north of Kerens. Memorials may be made to the Kerens Library, 121 South Colket Street, Kerens, TX 75144.
