Catherine B. “Kaki” Davis

Catherine B. “Kaki” Davis, 95, passed away Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, in Booneville, Ark.

She was born Sept. 13, 1917, in Roane, Texas, to John J. and Bessie (Estes) Bryant.

She was a retired receptionist and owned and operated a greenhouse for many years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Booneville, Ark., and was a member and fomer president of the Garden Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Russell Davis; and one daughter, Harriett Lopez.

Funeral services were conducted Monday, Dec. 24, 2012, at Roberts Memorial Chapel in Booneville, with interment in Oak Hill Cemetery in Booneville, Ark.

She is survived by nieces Cathy Mandell and husband John of Austin; Pam Burke, of Kaufman; sister-in-law, Glenalma Rodgers Bryant Niedzielski of Kaufman; son-in-law, Don Lopez of Booneville, Ark.; great nieces, Lisa and Janet Jacobs of Corsicana, Melissa Haldeman and husband Britton of Kaufman, and Bonnie Karstedt and husband John of Round Top; great-nephew, John Wood and wife Denise of Wills Point; and two great-great-grand nieces.

Pallbearers were Darrin Knight, Donnie Owens, and Gary Lopez.

Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 507, Booneville, Ark., 72927.
