Thelma Maxine Richards
Thelma Maxine Richards, 73 of Corsicana, passed away Monday, July 20, 2009.
She was born Feb. 24, 1936, in Alba, Ala. to Henry and Eva Price.
She worked at CISD for the past seven years as a bus aide for the disabled children whom she loved.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Charlotte Armstrong; parents; four brothers, and four sisters.
Survivors include her husband, Wayne Richards of Corsicana; daughter, Denise Blase and husband Gary of Houston; son, David Richards and wife Donna of Blooming Grove; son, Randy Richards and wife Kim of Blooming Grove; grandchildren, Misti Gonzales; Dale Mize; Brooke, Jordan and Meredith Richards; and Shane and Hayden Richards; Jason Richards; Phillip Armstrong; great grandchildren, Tristen and Braden Richards, Peyton Armstrong, Kameron Mize and Aiden; sisters, Lois Gilchrist of Columbus, Ga.; Mildred Singleton of Texarkana; and Jo Ann Smith of Columbus, Ga.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2009, at Dresden Cemetery with Brian Connally officiating.
Pallbearers will be Mike Cook, Shane Richards, Dale Mize, Phillip Armstrong, Jordan Richards, and Jason Richards.
Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Corsicana ISD Transportation Department.
