Don Dotson





Don Dotson, 72, of Frost, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2009, at his home in Frost.

Don was born March 13, 1937, in Cooper, the son of the late Sam Posey and Fay Taylor Dotson. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He had been in the auto body repair business most of his life.

Survivors include his wife, Jenny Dotson of Frost; a son, Don Dotson and wife Tammy of Waxahachie; daughters, Norma Welborn and husband Roy of Frost, Nina Dotson of Dallas, Sandra Wickware and husband Jay of Frost, Mary Lee Kennemore and husband Joe of Corsicana, Barbara Kelley and husband Kevin of Welling, Okla., and Donna Mitchell and husband Greg of Arlington; brother, Duane Dotson of Ohio; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, at First Baptist Church of Frost with the Rev. Grady Cashion officiating. Interment will be at Frost Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Roy Welborn, Joe Kennemore, Greg Mitchell, Kevin Kelley, Sherman Crayton, Michael Welborn, Eric Dowdle and Jeremy Dowdle. Honorary pallbearers include Adam Dowdle, Jeffrey Wickware, Ron Bissonnette and Mike Clayton.
