Curtis Barlow, 68, passed away Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009. He was born Oct. 4, 1941, in Corsicana to the late Milton and Bessie Barlow. Curtis married Ruby Louise on Dec. 20, 1984, in Lubbock. He was a farm loan manager for USDA, Farm Service Agency in Brownfield and Tahoka for more the 37 years. Curtis was Farm Loan Manager of the Year in Texas in 1998 and 2006. He had been a longtime member of Southcrest Baptist Church.
Curtis is survived by his wife, Ruby; sons, Wesley Barlow of Mexia and Jason Barlow of Richland; stepson, Cloyd Brandon of Lubbock; stepdaughters, Cassie Henry of Lubbock and Kim Hambleton of Guymon, Okla.; brothers, B.C. Barlow of Corsicana and Fred Barlow of Chatfield; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by brothers, Barney, Lester, and Cortis Barlow; and a sister, Mary Sawyer.
Services will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 31, at Southcrest Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at City of Lubbock Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30, at Sanders Funeral Home, 1420 Main St., Lubbock.
