Paula Ruth Howard, born in Lone Oak on Feb. 1 1940, to the home of John Hope and Mamie Thompson Hope, passed away in Kaufman on Nov. 8, 2009.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Peggy Bownds, Michael Charters, Randy Charters, Deanna Howard and Billy Howard; brother, Derwood Hope; sisters, Genie Gatewood and Dorothy Williams; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Her husband, Jack D. Howard; a daughter, Nancy Spence; daughter-in-law, Sandy Charters; son-in-law, Sammy Bownds; her parents, six brothers and sisters preceded her.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 20, in the Moorhead-Epps Funeral Home Chapel officiated by the Rev. Raymond Neal Jr.

Memorial donations maybe made to Bridgeway Health Services 401 N. Adams, Kemp, TX 75143.
