Corsicana —
Jacksonville at Corsicana: Both teams are 2-2 in 16-4A yet both have clinched a playoff spot. The teams are pretty even on paper and with the pressure off both, it should be entertaining.
Italy at Kerens: The Bobcats can win a share of the 6-1A DI title with a victory on Friday night. If Kerens wins by four or more, they’ll earn a bye for the first week of the playoffs.
Blooming Grove at Millsap: The Lions shouldn’t have a problem whipping up on Millsap, so all eyes will be on Rio Vista and Tolar. BG needs a Tolar win along with one of its own to get in the playoffs.
Scurry-Rosser at Mildred: The Eagles have been able to name the score against district opponents which is bad news for Scurry-Rosser, which can earn a playoff spot with a win.
Dallas Life at Rice: The Bulldogs look to close out their season with their third district win while Ragan Henderson tries to wrap up the Golden Circle rushing title.
Dawson at Wortham: Wortham can clinch a playoff spot with a win while Dawson can only play a spoiler role even though a win would likely give them a third-place tie in district.
Meridian at Hubbard: The Jaguars can clinch a second straight district title with a road win.

Morgan: Solid shape - Despite injuries, Rangers just fine
Let me see a show of hands. Who was worried this season about the Rangers losing Josh Hamilton, Michael Young and Mike Napoli? Come on, now. You know it was hard to see how they would replace both the production and the leadership provided by that threesome. Oh, and let’s add that they would have to start the season without Coby Lewis and Neftali Feliz. Surely, you had to wonder if even Moses could lead us could lead us out of the AL West.

GC Baseball: Unbelievable - Windthorst plates 6 in seventh to stun Dawson
Bo Moore lives by the run. He likes to put pressure on the opponent. A three-run seventh looked like just enough cushion in a five-run game. But it wasn’t.
