Jayd Kirby scored three runs in the first half and Tyler Morris scored three in the second as Blooming Grove blew out the Millsap Bulldogs 56-7 Friday night.
With the win, the Lions advance to the playoffs for the first time in five years. It's also Blooming Grove's first seven-win season in 16 years. The Lions are 7-3 overall, while Millsap finishes its season 0-10.
Kirby scored on runs of 68, 40 and 30 yards, respectively, and Brandon Hays crossed the goal line from 22 yards out and Travis Whiteside had an 8-yard TD as BG led 35-0 at halftime.
Morris then scored on run of 61, 34 and 36 yards, respectively, for the Lions three second-half touchdowns.
