HS Cross Country: Three Dawson runners advance to regionals

Three Dawson Bulldogs advanced to regionals at the District 19-1A cross country meet.

In boys, Caleb Grant took fourth place with a time of 18:41 and Seth Lachney came in sixth place with a time of 18:46.

Katie Grant was the lone girl to advance, taking sixth place with a time 15:44.

Dawson had three junior high boys place in the Top 10: Justin Gray came in fourth, Parker Henthorne in sixth and Brodie Cantu in ninth. The Dawson boys came in second place overall with Robert Jones and Billy Robinson also competing for Dawson.

Tory Colon placed in the Top 10 in the girls.

The Class 1A Region III cross country meet is Saturday in Humble.
