The Tigers will open District 16-4A action Tuesday night at home with a special event — Senior Night.
Corsicana’s nine seniors and their parents will be honored before Tuesday’s game. Pre-game ceremonies for the Tiger 9 will begin at 6:40 p.m. First pitch is slated for 7 p.m. against the Lions.
The Tigers’ nine seniors are — infielder/outfielder Aaron Cantu, pitcher Tyler Casbeer, infielder Hunter Denbow, infielder Reid Folmar, pitcher Jeremy Fowler, infielder Ben Goodrich, pitcher/infielder Holden Grounds, outfielder Zane Otten and catcher Zach Rash.
Also, injured senior pitcher Matt Burns will be honored.
Corsicana (15-4-1) begins its 10-game 16-4A schedule Tuesday night against John Tyler. The Tigers have won 13 of their last 14 games.
