HS Girls Hoops Playoffs: Frost rolls over Blum 60-35 (Updated with playoff pairing)

MAYPEARL — Jasmyn Steels poured in 21 points and Jae Moore added 18 as Frost roared past Blum 60-35 in a Region II-1A DII area round playoff game Friday night in Maypearl.

Kadee Bowling added 13 for the Lady Polar Bears, who moved to 28-3 on the season.

Frost (28-3) will play Strawn (29-6) in a regional quarterfinal matchup at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Clifton High School.

Dave “Coach” Robertstad, an avid birdwatcher and outdoor enthusiast, could have kept his teaching focused on standard P.E. activities like kickball, dodgeball or basketball but he answered a higher calling.
