CHS Boys Hoops: Tigers win 17th, beat Waco Robinson 57-39

Corsicana — Dzifa Mallet scored 13 points to lead a balanced scoring attack as the Tigers won big at home again, beating Waco Robinson 57-39 on Friday night at Tiger Gym.

Corsicana (17-4) continued its momentum heading into next Friday’s district opener at Whitehouse.

Anthony Jones had 10 points as Mike Lewis added nine for the Tigers. Corsicana led 28-23 at halftime.

Eye on the Prize
Dave “Coach” Robertstad, an avid birdwatcher and outdoor enthusiast, could have kept his teaching focused on standard P.E. activities like kickball, dodgeball or basketball but he answered a higher calling.
