Navarro vaulted back into the NJCAA Top 10 on Tuesday as it prepares for Saturday’s SWJCFC Championship Game against No. 4 NEO in Miami, Okla.
The Bulldogs (8-2) moved up four spots to No. 9 in the latest poll after Saturday’s 42-14 victory over No. 13 Kilgore.
NEO (9-1) remained at No. 4 after hanging on for a 37-35 victory over Tyler in the other SWJCFC semifinal game played on Saturday.
Iowa Western (10-0) and Butler (Kan.) CC (10-0) remained on a collision course to play for the national championship, holding down the top two spots in the poll.
NEO defeated Navarro last weekend 26-24 in Oklahoma.

Dave “Coach” Robertstad, an avid birdwatcher and outdoor enthusiast, could have kept his teaching focused on standard P.E. activities like kickball, dodgeball or basketball but he answered a higher calling.
