Lady Dawgs roll past Cisco, 7-2
The Navarro Lady Dawgs extended their season record to 13-0 Saturday, cruising past Cisco 7-2 at the Navarro soccer field.
Venicia Reid was the first to find the back of the net for Navarro, getting the goal at the 7:26 mark on an assist from Sarah Lawrence.
Cisco tied the game three minutes later, but Navarro regained the lead with goals from Heather Pagano and Reid.
The Lady Wranglers scored once more in the game at the 43 minute mark.
The Lady Dawgs kept the heat on Cisco with four additional goals from Toni Smith, Lawrence, Sylvia Vasquez and Reid.
Navarro goalkeeper Erika Taylor finished with three saves on five Cisco shots on goal.
The Lady Dawgs will be back at home against Lon Morris Wednesday at 3 p.m.
