GC Baseball: Blooming Grove opens up district with win

— Blooming Grove opened the district season with a 16-0 victory over Marlin on Tuesday.

Dalton Blake and Shane Battenfield combined four no-hit innings with seven strikeouts. Blake picked up the win.

Travis Whiteside was 3 for 4 with a double, two runs and three RBIs. Jacob Conger was 4 for 4 with a double, two runs and five RBIs. Brody Owens was 2 for 2 with two runs.
