HS Football Poll: Lancaster, John Tyler move up in 4A poll

Corsicana plays No. 3 Tyler on Oct. 12 at Tiger Stadium

— Lancaster and Tyler John Tyler moved up a spot to No. 2 and 3 respectively in this week’s Associated Press high school football poll.

Pearland Dawson (4-0) remained in the top spot. Lancaster (4-0) beat John Tyler (3-1) earlier this season, upsetting the then top-ranked Lions 26-21.

Katy (4-0) is No. 1 in the 5A poll, followed by DeSoto (5-0). Coppell mvoed up to No. 5 after beating Allen 27-24 in overtime on Friday.
