The Tigers basketball team finished off the Bridge City Bayou Christmas Classic with three straight victories, winning twice on Friday.
The Tigers (16-4) beat Vidor 57-43 and Team Australia 51-47.
Corsicana will return to action Friday at home against Waco Robinson.
Lady Tigers finish in Top 8 at DISD tourney: The Lady Tigers lost Friday to perennial power Irving MacArthur on Friday, 56-37, in a winner’s bracket game at the Coca-Cola DISD Basketball Tournament.
Corsicana is 14-9 as it heads into the new year. The Lady Tigers next game is their district opener at Nacogdoches at 6:30 p.m. Friday night.
