Mike Lewis and Jamaal Evans each scored 12 points, but the Tigers couldn’t overcome a rough third quarter in a 57-47 loss at John Tyler on Tuesday night.
Corsicana (21-8, 3-5) dropped its third straight game in district play while John Tyler (12-14, 6-2) clinched a playoff spot. The Tigers need a victory on Friday at home against Lindale to clinch at worst a fourth-place play-in game for the playoffs.
Lady Tigers end season with loss: The Corsicana girls (15-18, 1-9) lost their final game of the season, 56-33, to John Tyler.
