Southlake Carroll-Allen replay to be shown on Fox Sports Southwest
FOX Sports Southwest and FOX Sports Houston will relive Southlake Carroll High School’s dramatic 35-34 double-overtime victory over Allen High School in a UIL Class 5A Division II area-round game last Saturday as a “Texas High School Football Classic” on Thursday, Nov. 26 at 9:00 PM CT.
The game, which wasn’t televised on Saturday, will be shown in an edited one-hour format using the in-house video feed from Cowboys Stadium in Arlington with Southlake Carroll’s radio call featuring Chuck Kelly, Kelly Milligan and Travis Smith.
Southlake Carroll defensive back Justin Agnew stopped Allen quarterback Matt Brown’s attempt at a game-winning two-point conversion in the second overtime with a game-winning tackle at the two-yard line that capped a wild finish. Allen, last year’s 5A Division I state champion, had tied the score on the final play in regulation to force overtime after partially blocking a Southlake Carroll punt with one-second left.
