Mike Hayes and Cameron Newton rushed for 117 and 110 yards respectively as No. 2 Blinn beat No. 1 Fort Scott (Kan.), 31-26, on Sunday in the 2009 Citizens Bank Bowl in Pittsburgh Kansas.
Blinn (11-1) will move up to No. 1 in the country. Navarro, which beat Mississippi Gulf Coast, 37-26, in the C.H.A.M.P.S. Heart of Texas Bowl in Copperas Cove, is likely to finish in the No. 2 spot in the polls.
