The Navarro Bulldogs continued their slow climb up the national poll on Tuesday, moving up one spot to No. 7 in the latest NJCAA Division I football rankings.
The top four teams remained the same with Iowa Western (8-0) holding down the top spot, followed by Butler (8-0), East Mississippi (8-0) and Arizona Western (6-0).
East Mississippi had the biggest win of thw eek, defeating then-No. 4 Northwest Mississippi 56-49.
Navarro (7-1) is one slot ahead of No. 8 Northeastern Oklahoma A&M (7-1). The teams will square off Saturday in Miami, Okla. in the final game of the SWJCFC regular season.
