Navarro opened the preseason as the No. 10 team in the country in the NJCAA National Top 25 poll released Thursday.
The Runnin’ Bulldogs, who went 25-11 last year and made it to their third national tournament in four years, have the makings of one of their most talented rosters. They are also the preseason pick in the North Zone in the Region XIV coaches poll.
Navarro opens the regular season No. 1 against Lone Star-Tomball at the K. and Ida Wolens Special Events Center.
