Rio Vista at Mildred: The Eagles turned a corner with last week’s 62-0 thumping of Blooming Grove. Mildred could go 7-0 in district.
Frost at Perrin-Whitt: The Polar Bears will try and make it 6-0 headed into the next week’s district showdown with Hubbard.
Axtell at Wortham: Axtell comes in off a big win over Bremond while the Bulldogs are trying to bounce back from a 14-6 loss to Itasca.
Dawson at Normangee: A rival coach says Dawson can play with Normangee. The banged up Bulldogs turn to freshman running back Ian Norwood again.

Eye on the Prize
Dave “Coach” Robertstad, an avid birdwatcher and outdoor enthusiast, could have kept his teaching focused on standard P.E. activities like kickball, dodgeball or basketball but he answered a higher calling. Instead, Coach Robertstad took it upon himself to create the OAK program alongside his standard P.E. curriculum as a means of teaching his students critical outdoor skills.
