The Kerens Bobcats had no answer for Hico in Friday night’s Region II-1A DI Bi-district playoff game in Robinson.
The Bobcats lost to Hico 46-8 to end their season with a 5-6 record. Kerens has lost in the bi-district round of the playoffs four of the last five seasons.
Kerens scored its only touchdown in the fourth quarter as sophomore quarterback Nate Betts tossed a 3-yard touchdown pass to Shelton Sayles.
The Bobcats added a two-point conversion as Betts hooked up with Brett Anderson.
Hico led 33-0 at halftime.
