Frost, fresh off an electrifying playoff run, finally started its basketball season on Thursday in the Hubbard Tournament.
The Polar Bears, with just three practices to prepare, lost to 7-1 Bosqueville, 47-41, in an opening round game in Hubbard.
Danial Steels had 13 points to lead Frost. Robert Worley added 10 points and Jacob Stroder had seven points.
