GC Track: Henderson competing in 2A discus Friday evening
In the weekend edition of the Daily Sun, it was reported that Rice senior Ragan Henderson would compete Saturday afternoon in the discus. That report was made in error. Henderson will actually compete at 5:30 p.m. Friday.

Honors for Frost
The Frost High School football team received the Gordon Wood Award from the Texas High School Football Hall of Fame. The team led by head coach Eric Blenden was able to make it all the way to the state quarterfinals.
