2011 Corsicana Tiger Volleyball Try-Outs



All sessions of Corsicana Volleyball try-outs are mandatory and you must arrive 30 minutes prior to the session starting to check in. Physicals and all athletic paperwork are due prior to try-outs, July 28, 2011. This allows us to fix any problems that might arise as our Athletic Trainers clear your paperwork.



The schedule is as follows:

August 1-3, 2011 (Mon/Tues/Wed) -- Tryouts

Sessions are 8a.m.-Noon



**Must wear a blue, black, gold, grey or white t-shirt, spandex/shorts, and running shoes.  

**NO tank tops, pajamas or extremely short shorts.

**There will be a midmorning break, but no one will be permitted to leave.

**Teams will be posted on or before Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at NOON.

**Practices will start on Wednesday/Thursday, August 3/4, 2011. Time: TBA.  

**Scrimmages are schedule for Friday, Aug. 5 at 10 a.m. at Carrollton Ranchview. (Players must arrive at 7:45 a.m.), and Saturday, Aug. 6 at 10 a.m. in Duncanville. Bus leaves at 8 a.m. (Players must arrive at 7:45 a.m. F, JV, V).

**There will be a mandatory parent meeting on Thursday, Aug., 4, 2011 at 6:30 p.m.

**A parent, guardian, aunt, uncle, etc. must be present to represent you as an athlete. You will not be allowed to participate in a scrimmage/game until your parent/guardian has personally spoken with me or your coach personally.

**Please note that if an athlete fails to attend ANY PART of the tryout or sessions, they will not be eligible to make a team. Also, participating in the summer conditioning program is not mandatory. In addition to this, it also DOES NOT guarantee your child will make a team in any sport.
