The CHS Booster Club will sponsor the Second Annual Tiger Fest Friday, August 19 at 6:30 p.m., downtown on Beaton Street.  

This all sports pep rally is designed to generate spirit within the community for all CHS Tiger Sports and activities.  

Meet coaches from all sports, enjoy performances by the Tiger Band, Calicos and Cheerleaders and see many of the CHS athletes as they prepare for the 2011-2012 seasons.  

Admission is free.

  Tryouts will be held Aug. 6 for two fall baseball teams at Mildred High School.
  At 9 a.m., tryouts for an 8-under boys (coach pitch) will be held, and at 10: 30 a.m. tryouts for 9-under boys (kid pitch) will be held.
