Skyler Brooke Burleson Renschler and Robert Gaines Baty Jr. were united in marriage at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011 at Lakewood Christian Church in Waco, Texas. They were surrounded by family and friends with minister, Dr. Jerry Kirkpatrick, officiating. A reception followed the ceremony at Ridgewood Country Club.
Skyler is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard J. Renschler Jr. of Waco. Skyler is a 2009 graduate of Baylor University. She is employed as Client Relations Manager for Merriman Associates/Architects, Inc. in Dallas, Texas. She is a 2005 high school graduate of Vanguard College Preparatory School in Waco.
Skyler is also the great-niece of Earl Bush Jr. of Corsicana, and the granddaughter of the late Dorothy Marie Bush Burleson.
Robbie is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gaines Baty Sr. of Dallas. He is a 2006 graduate of Rhodes College in Tennessee. He is employed as Senior Associate with Cushman & Wakefield in Dallas. He is a high school graduate of St. Mark’s School of Texas in Dallas.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father. The bride wore a LaSposa ivory, strapless, fit to flare gown, featuring a sweetheart neckline, empire rhinestone belt and train. She wore an ivory cathedral veil. Her bouquet was composed of white hydrangeas and ivory roses.
Maids of honor were Kayla Kidwell and Kriste Bogans, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jacqueline Baty, Tedi Clancy, Audrey DeWitt, Alison Mabry, Molly Mulvaney, Stephanie Murray, Ryan Oliviera, Allison Sulser, Rachel Trippet, and Lauren Trull. The house party members included Michele Key, Karla Beth Kosub, Courtney Landrum, Anne Louise Ryan and Michael Ann Young.
Groomsmen were Brice Chaney, Tyler Gamble, Matthew Goldsby, Tom Hook, Jonathan Leader, Peter Lynch, Adam Master, Andrew Napper, Thiago Oliviera, Conner Ryan, Paul Schneider and Ben Stephens. The ushers included Taylor Callaway, David Davidson, Eric Hage, and Joe Thompson.
The String Quartet for the Ceremony was Grazioso. Jonathan Gary was the ceremony organist. The reception music was “The Project Band.”
After a honeymoon to Bora Bora, Tahiti, Skyler and Robbie will reside in Dallas, Texas.

Emily Ann Bates and Daniel Keith Hanzus were united in marriage at 6:30 p.m. on May 12, 2012 in an outside ceremony at The Vista on Seward Hill in Austin, Texas. Officiating the ceremony were Kenneth Bates, cousin to the bride and the Honorable Phillip Zeigler with scripture reading by Matthew Price. A cocktail hour, dinner and dancing followed at the venue. On the eve of the wedding, a rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom's parents at Stubb's Barbeque; also in Austin.
