Samantha Blair Warrington and David Thomas Day were united in marriage Saturday, May 5, 2012, at Armstrong Browning Library on the Baylor University Campus in Waco. Pastor Brian Dunks officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Larry and Debra Warrington, the granddaughter of James and Ouieda Franks of Corsicana, and the late Bob and Lonnie Warrington. The groom is the son of Thomas and Martha Day of Coppell, the grandson of Jeannine Duke and the late Robert Duke of Houston, and Albert and Mary Jane Day of Watseka, Ill.
Serving as maid of honor was Alicia Pattillo, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Katie Anders, friend of the bride, and Andrea Day, sister of the groom. Serving as best man was Daniel Day, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Bobby Beaty, cousin of the groom, and Matthew Warrington, brother of the bride. Serving as ushers were Blake Harbour and Alex Anders, friends of the couple. Serving as the house party were Carla Dyess, Lou Franks, and Linda Guthrie, aunts of the bride.
Following the ceremony, a barbeque dinner reception was held at the Palladium in downtown Waco. The couple enjoyed a honeymoon in Hawaii and now reside in Washington, D.C. where David is serving as a First Lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force and Samantha is employed as an International Economist with the United States International Trade Commission.
