Megan Lynnette Blue and Steven Lynn Allred were joined in marriage April 17, 2009, in a sunset ceremony on the beach in Destin, Fla. The Rev. Timothy Sachse performed the traditional Christian ceremony.
Megan is the daughter of Randy and Janette Blue of Corsicana. She is the granddaughter of M.H. and Ida Blue of Corsicana, and Martha Little of Corsicana and the late Edgar Little. Megan is a 1997 graduate of Corsicana High School. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice from Sam Houston State University in 2002.
Steve is the son of S.L. and Nina Allred of Richardson. He is the grandson of the late Arthur and Ruby Allred of Tyler, and the late Vernon and Sinnie Boswell of Macon, Miss. Steve is a 1993 graduate of Berkner High School in Richardson. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1998.
Megan and Steve are employed by Justice Benefits Inc. Government Consulting Firm in Dallas, where Megan is a consultant for the division of Child Welfare programs and Steve is a regional area manager for marketing.
The couple will honeymoon this summer in the Bahamas. Megan and Steve currently reside in Dallas.

Bates-Hanzus Wedding
Emily Ann Bates and Daniel Keith Hanzus were united in marriage at 6:30 p.m. on May 12, 2012 in an outside ceremony at The Vista on Seward Hill in Austin, Texas. Officiating the ceremony were Kenneth Bates, cousin to the bride and the Honorable Phillip Zeigler with scripture reading by Matthew Price. A cocktail hour, dinner and dancing followed at the venue. On Saturday, Dec. 31, 2011, Katrina L. Nash and Jonathon R. Rash ended one chapter of their lives and began a new chapter as husband and wife. The wedding ceremony took place at Mildred Baptist Church in Mildred, officiated by Bro. Byron Ayers. -
