Reed-Milligan Wedding

Corsicana — Reed-Milligan Wedding

Caylin Reed and Justin Milligan were united in marriage on Dec. 4, 2010, at Central Baptist Church in Blooming Grove. The double ring ceremony was officiated by Darren Heil.

The bride is the daughter of Joe and Paula Reed of Corsicana. The groom is the son of Sharon Milligan of Corsicana, and Gary and Tammy Milligan of Branford, Conn.

The wedding party entered the sanctuary to the music of "Will You Marry Me,” sang by John Barry. The Matron of Honor was Leslie Reed, sister-in-law to the bride, and the Maid of Honor was Brooke Koscielniak, niece to the bride. They wore matching holly green, floor length strapless gowns, accented with holly green sheer wraps. Jaden Milligan, niece to groom, and Kamri Milligan, daughter to the groom, served as flower girls. They spread snowflakes to usher in the bride. The ring bearer was Braydon Reed, nephew to the bride. He carried a pillow made from the bassinet cover, which belonged to the bride as a baby.

The ushers were Cody Reed, brother to the bride, and Cody Mader, friend to the couple.

The bride, escorted by her father, entered to the music of "I'll stand by You,” by Carrie Underwood. Her dress was an A line gown, with embroidery and beads, and a cathedral length train. Her veil was waist length, attached to a tiara of emeralds and diamonds. Her flowers were white roses, adorned with silver and holly green leaves.

Upon the announcement of the couple as husband and wife, they kissed to "This Magic Moment,” by Jay and The Americans.

The reception was held at the Kinsloe House in Corsicana, which was decorated for Christmas. A buffet style dinner was served with brisket and all the trimmings. The brides cakes were red velvet and white, shaped like gifts with holly green bows and silver ribbons. The grooms cakes were chocolate with peanut butter filling, resembling Reese's Peaunut Butter Cups. The cakes were made by Brandy Nance of Corsicana.

On Christmas day the couple departed on a week long trip to Connecticut and New York. Upon their return, they plan to reside in Corsicana.
