Adrienne Renee Murray and Jeffrey Lee Asby were united in holy matrimony July 11, 2011. The double-ring ceremony was held at Ashton Gardens in Corinth, Texas with Bro. Mack Roller officiating the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of David and Cindy Murray of Pursley. The groom is the son of Mike and Ann Asby of Centerville.
At half past 7 in the evening, the bride walked down the center aisle to the traditional “Bridal Chorus.” The chapel was beautifully decorated with candles and hydrangeas with vibrant floral décor in colors of sky blue, light orange and yellow.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore an elegant V-neckline gown with charmeuse satin lining and lace appliqué overlay. The lace was adorned with embroidery and crystals by designer Allure. Adrienne carried a gorgeous bouquet of hydrangeas and Tiger lilies.
Serving as maid of honor was Lauren Tidwell, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Carin Asby, Megan Asby, Gayla Bland, and Jenna Gesell. Isabell Bland, cousin of the bride, and Anna Kate Asby, niece of the groom, served as flower girls.
Serving as best man was Mike Asby, father of the groom. The groomsmen were Cameron Asby, Marcus Asby, Nathan Murray, and Jason Ellison. The ushers were Daniel Coffey and Steven Tidwell.
Austin McCormick was the guest book attendant.
The music was provided by “Forte Strings.”
Following the wedding, a reception was held in the east ball room at Ashton Gardens. With a grand entrance of the couple coming down a spiraling staircase with the musicians Forte Strings playing “It Had To Be You,” they were greeted by many guests. The tables were elegantly decorated with white linens, candle centerpieces, and yellow and orange Tiger lilies. Guests were served an array of hors d’oeuvres and a chocolate fountain.
The wedding cake was a four-tier red velvet with butter cream frosting, accented with blue hydrangeas. The groom’s cake was two-tier chocolate tiramisu cake with chocolate frosting accented with chocolate covered strawberries.
Adrienne and Jeffrey are both graduates of Angelo State University. Jeffrey is employed with Pricewaterhouse Coopers in Houston.
After a two-week honeymoon in Fesdu Island North Ari Atoll, Maldives, the couple is now making their home in Houston.

Emily Ann Bates and Daniel Keith Hanzus were united in marriage at 6:30 p.m. on May 12, 2012 in an outside ceremony at The Vista on Seward Hill in Austin, Texas. Officiating the ceremony were Kenneth Bates, cousin to the bride and the Honorable Phillip Zeigler with scripture reading by Matthew Price. A cocktail hour, dinner and dancing followed at the venue. On the eve of the wedding, a rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom's parents at Stubb's Barbeque; also in Austin.
