Dalena LaNelle Brown and Morgan Wayne Watson were united in marriage in an intimate ceremony on March 12, 2012 at the romantic Inn at Craig Place in San Antonio.
Dalena is the daughter of Jamie and Judy (Ware) Brown of Nashville, Tenn. and sister of Jamie D’Lee Allen of North Carolina. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Bonner of Corsicana, Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Christall of Teague, Mr. and Mrs. Del Ware of Marble Falls and Mr. and Mrs. James Brown, Sr., of Corsicana.
Morgan is the son of Diane Watson of Corsicana and brother of Amanda Watson of Corsicana. He is the grandson of Gay Wright and the late Denver Wright of Corsicana and Chuck and Mary Watson of Glendale, Ariz.
The candlelit fireplace mantel was decorated with white candles, white roses, purple daisies and greenery where the bride and groom exchanged vows. Beautiful chandelier lights were dimmed, giving the room a glowing, romantic ambiance.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride descended the historical staircase in a white, strapless, A-lined gown embellished with tiny seed pearls, sequins, and a chapel-length train. She carried a spring bouquet consisting of white roses, purple daisies and greenery.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the elegant Hildebrand dining room. The couple’s cake was decorated with fresh white roses and purple daisies with a “double heart” crystal topper.
Dalena is a 2005 graduate of Malakoff High School and is currently a student at Navarro College. She is employed by Bealls. Morgan is a 2003 graduate of Corsicana High School and a 2009 graduate of Texas A&M University Commerce. He is employed by the Navarro County Sheriff’s Department. The couple resides in Corsicana.
