Corsicana —
Tiffani Kiger and Jonathan Anderson were united in holy matrimony on Friday, Sept. 2, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. The double-ring ceremony was held at Avanti Fountain Place in Dallas, with Rev. Marty Younkin officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George and Jimi Kiger of Heath, Texas, and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. George and Joan Kiger. The groom is the son of John Anderson of Plano, formerly of Corsicana, and Sharon Williams of Plano; he is the grandson of Mr. Harrol Caffey and Ms. Frances Caffey of Austin, and Mrs. Marianne Anderson of Corsicana.
The bride’s sister, Janine King, served as matron of honor. David King, friend of the groom and brother of the bride, was best man.
The bride wore a strapless, blush gown with lace rosettes. Instead of the traditional bridal bouquet, she wore a pearl wrist corsage of white roses. Her something blue — an aquamarine necklace given to her by her soon-to-be husband; something old — her grandmother’s handkerchief which she wore at her own wedding.
The fountains of Avanti Fountain Place formed a beautiful backdrop for the wedding and reception following the ceremony. At 9 p.m. dinner was served to 100 guests with dancing following until midnight.
The couple, who will make their home in Dallas, left the next morning for a week-long honeymoon in Hawaii. They stayed on the island of Oahu in the Princess Kaiulani near Waikiki Beach. The week was spent on the beach and visiting local points of interest including the Honolulu Zoo, Hanauma Bay, and the Pearl Harbor Memorial Museum.

Emily Ann Bates and Daniel Keith Hanzus were united in marriage at 6:30 p.m. on May 12, 2012 in an outside ceremony at The Vista on Seward Hill in Austin, Texas. Officiating the ceremony were Kenneth Bates, cousin to the bride and the Honorable Phillip Zeigler with scripture reading by Matthew Price. A cocktail hour, dinner and dancing followed at the venue. On the eve of the wedding, a rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom's parents at Stubb's Barbeque; also in Austin.
