Kelsey Ann Moorhouse and Alexander Franklin Leach were united in marriage Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Christ the King Cathedral in Lubbock with Rev. Bill Anton officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Steve and Theresa Moorhouse of Lubbock and the bridegroom is the son of Eric and Lisa Leach of Ransom Canyon.
Kelsey is the granddaughter of Marie Kolar, formerly of Hillsboro and the late Johnny Kolar, and Bobbye Moorhouse of Seymour, and the late David Moorhouse. Alex is the grandson of Jack and Cornelia Leach of Modesto, Calif. and J.E. “Bud” Franklin of Houston, and the late Billie Franklin.
Matrons of honor were Kimberly Abbott and Kristy Combs, sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kira Colon, cousin of the bride, and Danielle Adams, friend of the bride. Flower girl was Tayzlee Combs, niece of the bride.
Best man was LC Bloomer, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were J.R. Cochran and Nick Thompson, friends of the groom, and Michael Sizemore, cousin of the groom.
Ushers were Quentin Driskell and Cody Lester, both friends of the groom.
A dinner and dance at the Ranch House at Ransom Canyon followed the ceremony.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of Corsicana High School and a 2009 graduate of Texas Tech University where she received a bachelors degree in Clinical Laboratory Science. She is currently working in the University Medical Center’s Microbiology Department as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist.
Alex is a 2003 graduate of Roosevelt High School and a 2009 graduate of Texas Tech University. He is currently working as a physics teacher and football/power lifting coach at Lubbock Cooper High School.
After a wedding trip to Oahu, the couple now resides in Lubbock.

Emily Ann Bates and Daniel Keith Hanzus were united in marriage at 6:30 p.m. on May 12, 2012 in an outside ceremony at The Vista on Seward Hill in Austin, Texas. Officiating the ceremony were Kenneth Bates, cousin to the bride and the Honorable Phillip Zeigler with scripture reading by Matthew Price. A cocktail hour, dinner and dancing followed at the venue. On the eve of the wedding, a rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom's parents at Stubb's Barbeque; also in Austin.
